I originally met Sydney at a wedding fair a few years back and I was super excited to hear they were looking at Burloes Hall for their wedding. If you haven’t heard of it find it, talk to them and go have a walk round the grounds. It is stunning. It has such happy memories for me as it is where Bec & I got married.
The day started of with me going to see Sydney and the rest of the Bridal party getting ready with a quick drive over to see Sean in between. It is always great fun in the mornings getting ready and I just try to blend in and capture the moments as they happen.
The ceremony was at St John the Baptist church in Royston so I headed off there to meet Bec who was 2nd shooting for me in the church. It adds so much to the photos having a 2nd photographer in a big church as you get the ceremony from both ends which makes for some amazing images.
Then we were off to Burloes Hall for the reception and photos in the stunning grounds. I always visit the site a few days before so I know what areas in the garden are in bloom so we can really make the most of it. Unfortunately it was raining but that did not stop us going out and getting the shots we needed! a few umbrellas and the help of my wife and her creative direction and we were just fine.
The evening came along and we had the pleasure of working with the amazing JN Sounds. The two of them work so well together and really get people involved with a few games then down to business with some amazing music.
