If you haven't already looked at Sheene Mill you should do. It's a stunning venue located just outside Royston on the way to Cambridge where you can have an outside ceremony. It has stunning grounds on the river and the most amazing team to make sure your day goes without any problems.
When I originally went to meet Rachel & Chris to hear about their plans I immediately knew this was a job I wanted to accept. They are a great couple and I knew we would get on throughout the day which is so important!
In the morning I went to meet Rachel who was getting ready at her parents house. It was a really relaxed morning where we had so good laughs whilst they all got their hair and makeup done.
Once I took some photos in the garden I was off to Sheene Mill to meet Chris and set up for the wedding ceremony.
The guests were arriving so I took Chris off into the gardens to get some shots of him and his grooms party.
A sudden downpour of rain had us all panicking a bit as the wedding ceremony was outside but the Bride arrived it blew over just in time!
The ceremony was in the pergola which sits over the water. It's such a stunning setting for a wedding.
As they walked back down the isle the friends and family all threw confetti and welcomed them into married life!
We they took some group photos and I managed to sneak the happy couple away for their photos. It was now time for the wedding breakfast. It is at this point that I start to back up their photos and double check what I have taken.
After dinner we had the amazing magician Lee Smith turn up. I love working with him. It really gets some amazing images of your friends looking amazed by his tricks. I am always so impressed!!
We then had the cake cut and first dance. The music, sparkly dance floor and uplighting was supplied by Disco Nyts. I work with them a lot and I cannot recommend them enough.
Finally, I managed to drag the Bride and Groom away for a final night shot in the pergola. I had such a great day, I hope you enjoy the photos!
