Wedding Photography Timeline
This is where we first get to meet up and discuss your plans for the day. It is an opportunity to see how we all get along. Furthermore it is a great time for me to show you examples for my wedding photography. In addition to this I will bring a number of wedding photography demo albums. This way you can see a full wedding as well as just a few great pictures. In addition I will also run you through the various packages so you can choose what suits your wedding budget and your needs.
So, you think we got on and you love my work. I will send you a booking confirmation including all the details of what is included in the wedding photography package and how to pay the deposit.
Once the deposit is paid I will forward you the contract to electronically sign and keep for your records. Above all contracts protect both parties and you will require one for you wedding insurance. If you have any questions about this please ask.
Pre Wedding Meeting
6-8 weeks before the wedding I will be in contact to arrange meeting. We will discuss your final plans for you wedding day. This can be done onsite at the venue which gives us a great chance to look at areas for you group photos. We can of course do it at home or anywhere else you fancy! I addition we can go through the timings of the day and you can give me the list of group photos for the day. In conclusion, it makes sure we are all working off the same timings for the day.
Well, it's finally here!!!! I will arrive with plenty of time to get set up and start capturing all the excitement of the day as it happens. I'll keep taking photos all day/evening capturing lots of natural photos of you and your guests. During the wedding breakfast i will retire out of the way so I can check my photos on a laptop. This way I can make sure we have everything we need. I will then come back out ready to shoot the speeches, cake cut, first dance and some of the evening celebrations. Once i've travelled back home I back up all the files into 2 separate places before sending you some images of the day.
My next task will be going through the images taken on the day and putting together your wedding gallery. All images in the gallery will be colour corrected and print ready. This should be ready within 4 weeks. You can then have a look at them and pick you favourites for your wedding album. The gallery is password protected and you can share this with your wedding guests should you want to. They are able to download and also order prints from here.
Once you have chosen your 70 favourite images for your album it is over to Bec for her amazing design skills. She will then create you some proofs of the album and send them to you for approval. If you have and adjustments we will do this or if you love it we will get it ordered form our supplier Graphistudio in Italy. In addition to your main album you may want to order some duplicate copy albums for loved ones. The albums take unto 6 weeks to arrive but believe me they are worth the wait!!
This is one of the favourite parts of my job. I believe everyone should have an album as the happy faces I see when I drop wedding albums off are just brilliant! Above all your wedding album is something to hand down through generations.
